About Our Club
SouthShore Sober Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2024, dedicated to fostering long-term recovery in the South Shore area of Tampa Bay, Florida. Our mission is to create a safe, alcohol- and drug-free social hub where individuals and families affected by substance use disorders can connect, heal, and thrive.
We aim to provide a nurturing, community-centered environment for attending recovery meetings (including 12-step programs such as AA, NA, Al-Anon, and more), participating in social activities, building fellowship, mentorship, family support, game nights, meditation spaces, and quiet areas for sponsor-sponsee interactions.
We can provide interviews, statements, high-resolution images, fact sheets, founder/board availability, or additional details on our initiatives and impact. We are eager to share stories of hope, resilience, and community transformation.

We hold the Candid Silver Seal of Transparency and welcome partnerships, donations, sponsorships, and volunteer involvement to bring this vision to life. This seal of transparency demonstrates our organization's non-profit status, due diligence, and commitment.
No Other Affiliations
We are not a medical, rehabilitation or health-care facility and do not affiliate with any other organization, club, program, sect, or denomination. However, we welcome the support of our community and the organizations who share a passion for our mission. Unlike rehabilitation or medical treatment centers, we focus exclusively on post-recovery social support to help people build fulfilling, sustainable, sober lives.
